LETTERS' POSITION IN A WORD

All the vowels can come at the start of a word.
Though ட, ல and ர does not start a word but to accommodate words from other language ட, ல and ர comes in the start of a word also. For example, டம்ரு (damru), ரமா (ramā), லதா (lathā)

Originally ‘ர’ does not come in the initial of a word. ரகசியம் (ragasiyam) secret used to be written as இரகசியம் ராமா (rāmā) Lord Rama used to written as இராமா
Similarly ‘ல’ also does not come at the start of a word. But recently it is being used in the start of a word.
